Located just twenty minutes north of Seattle, Northwest Productions is a complete production facility that can take your project from pre-production to a retail-ready product. Anyone can buy hardware, but it takes the expertise and talents of a great Engineer/Producer to get that "Killer Mix". We have more than 35 years combined experience over a wide spectrum of the music industry, including years of mixing and recording sound for national touring acts. Randy Matthiessen, owner and chief engineer of Northwest Productions definitely has the credits and experience to deliver that "World Class" sound. The quality of our sound has been compared to studios charging many times our rates. In fact, we've had many people listen to our masters and swear that "this had to be done in a major studio"! Although located in a private location this is by far not your typical "home studio". Our low overhead, carefully selected equipments and professional staff make Northwest Productions one of the very few recording studios able to provide this caliber of production at project studio rates.
